Goodless Electric is a family-owned and -operated, full-service electrical company based in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Since our founding in 1945, we have provided exceptional electrical services to our residential and commercial customers, treating them like family.
Our History
Goodless Electric Company was founded in 1945 by Irving Goodless behind his parent’s home in Springfield, Massachusetts. Irving’s brother, Leon, joined the business in 1946, and they renamed the business Goodless Brothers Electric Company.
The brothers devoted themselves to growing their business and soon became known for their solid work philosophy and for getting jobs done on time and on budget. Irving retired in 1977, while Leon continued the business, renaming it Goodless Electric Company and moving it to its current location at 100 Memorial Avenue in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
Lasting Legacy
Over the decades, Irving and Leon instilled a solid work philosophy into all of us—one that combines experience with pride and a solid commitment to provide professional electrical contracting services and support to every job we do, large or small.
In the eight decades we’ve been in business, our philosophy has not changed, and it shows in everything we do.
